Thanks!

Howdy everyone... it's Ben. I wanted to say thanks for the prayers and good wishes! The test went well, but not nearly as well as I was hoping. I scored in the 60th percentile which is good enough to get into a few of my "preferred" schools, but not all of them. A pretty average score, over all. I will be taking the test again in a month or so and we'll keep you posted! Hopefully I'll be able to plan a little bit better and study more than I did for this first one (for some reason, I scheduled it at a pretty busy time). Thanks again!

GMAT

Hi there!
If you happen to see this before 4pm today, please say a prayer for Ben! He has been taking the GMAT for 3 hours and has 2 to go! I'm sure he'll do fantastic, but we always appreciate extra prayers!
Thankyou!
Lots of love to ya!

Carmelitas...Sinfully Delicious

This recipe is a family favorite on the Wyeth side and I'm sure once any of you make it, it will be a family favorite in your fam too!
I have some of these ready to come out of the oven in a few minutes... I don't think I'm even going to post pictures for your sakes, I wouldn't want your drool to short your keyboards.
I was going to send a mass email to all of you my loved ones, but thought that all of you would sooner or later check the blog. These are too good to sit around and not share!

Mix together:
2 1/2 cups of flour
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
2 cups brown sugar
2 1/2 cups oats
1/2 tsp salt
3 3/4 cubes of butter (I know...it's not a typo)

Mix and save 1/4 of the dough. Press the rest into a large cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 10 min.

Remove from the oven and sprinkle the top with:
1 package of choc. chips (the jumbo ones are fun to use)
1 jar of Smuckers (or desired brand) caramel topping (find it by the ice cream essentials)
and an optional cup of chopped pecans.

Crumble reserved dough over the top.

Return to over for 15 min.

Try not to eat it all in one sitting!

Randomness....

Evelyn took this picture of me and Ben. I think she did a good job!
Lilacs, my favorite!
Sometimes, you just get a little thirsty being a mom!
This is the bird's nest outside. They have now left the nest since this photo.
Sneaky Nicole.
PS~ Rachel, it's been blog overload today! Don't feel like you have to comment, even though we do love it when you do! :)

Mowing the Lawn and such....

This is how Hannah likes to help mow the lawn...
...she's a jump right in a get her hands dirty kind of gal.
This is how Evelyn likes to help...
...I'll just hang out in here until you're done! She is a good cheerer!
I think this is a mighty picture of Hannah. Hannah vs. the world!
She loves to squish her nose on glass and screens!
Evelyn peeking out from our tree.
Our "weeds" that we replanted in planters on our doorstep.
Ben's artistic side capturing Jon's orchestra of splashing rocks.

YUK!

The other day we noticed Hannah was being unusually quiet in the kitchen. We peeked around the corner and this is what we found!

Looks like we need to make sure she is getting enough to eat!

A Post of Her Own

I thought these deserved just what the Title says: "A Post of Her Own." Needless to say, we won't be suprised if she takes a liking to drama, she already is so good at it!

Time to Catch up!

For a few weekends, Ben has been on a photo bonanza! I just realized how many we have on our computer! I'll try to get a few up and get caught up...

We had a fun visit with Grammie, she came to drop Nellie off at school. More pics of that to come.
The girls and Jess on a Sunday afternoon in our giganto yard.
Evelyn wondering why summer hasn't come to Rexburg. It snowed on June 11! It will come, if not we'll just buy some wet suits so we can play at the splash park!
Handsome sauce.
This is so Hannah. Ben calls her tumbleweed. She is always contently wandering and doing silly things.Just practicing cliff hanging.
